The bravest thing you can do is feel your fuxking feelings. In a world that is committed to giving you distractions—to numb yourself, the bravest thing you could do is turn within and sit with your shit.

As you know, I dance in duality... not asking you to get stuck but urging you to stop avoiding your emotions.

I was on my last call in a mentorship program, with my mentor that I hired.

Where one of the young ladies reflected something so beautiful to me... she thanked me for dropping into the chat and sharing my truth so vulnerably.

My truth: my mama's transition anniversary was coming up, and I miss her so much it literally hurts. After taking a hard-core look at some things in my life I realized... I was the problem. I had a breakdown, was in a dense place, and was in the midst of one of the biggest deaths | rebirths I've experienced.

She said it felt good to read that coming from me because if she looked at me today on the call, she would never know that I had been moving through that stuff because I'm so happy and full of light.

I get this in my DMs all the time. “How do you stay so happy and how are you so positive?”

🗣️This is a misconception.

I'm NOT positive all the time. You see or think that because I go to the depths of hell within my soul and within my feelings. So by the time you're seeing me, I've already alchemized my shit.

Allowing myself to process the emotions that come to the surface instead of suppressing them and acting as if they don't exist.

So again...

I invite you to feel your fuxking feelings. It's one of the bravest things you could do. I know it's dark and dense AF. I get it—you may not want to relive some of these feelings/experiences.

And on the other side of going through that pain is pure fuxking inner peace, freedom, and bliss.

The choice is yours—Instagram-filtered pockets of joy or genuine joy in your body.
